Located within a gated residential community in Curitiba, NSN House is organised around a clear division of the site into two longitudinal strips: one dedicated to the built form and the other reserved for landscaping and smaller ancillary volumes. This arrangement creates a private internal courtyard, responding to the clients' desire for a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living.
The ground floor accommodates the main social areas, including the living and dining rooms and pantry, which open onto the internal garden to create a seamless relationship between the interior spaces and landscape. The upper floor accommodates the private living areas, comprising bedrooms, suites, a home office and an intimate family room, with additional terraces enhancing the connection to the outdoors.
The architectural expression is defined by a substantial in-situ concrete upper volume, spanning 10 metres and projecting towards the street to form a cantilevered carport. The composition balances solid architectural forms with open landscaped spaces, creating a contemporary residence centred on privacy, functionality and spatial integration.
