Alterations and additions to a heritage-listed Federation bungalow within the Clanville Conservation Area. The design retains and preserves the original dwelling and its streetscape character, introducing a contemporary rear extension with open-plan living, kitchen and dining areas, and additional upper-level bedrooms. The new addition is carefully positioned behind the original home, balancing heritage conservation with the needs of modern family living.
My Role: Contributed to architectural design, design development and DA documentation, responding to heritage requirements and planning controls. Coordinated consultant input and developed the architectural proposal to achieve a sensitive balance between the original dwelling and contemporary additions.
