A medium-density residential infill development comprising four townhouses on a challenging sloping site of approximately 999m². Designed under the NSW Low and Mid-Rise Housing provisions, the proposal explores how increased housing density can be sensitively integrated into an established residential neighbourhood. The stepped built form responds to the site's topography, maximising residential amenity, solar access and privacy while maintaining an appropriate relationship with the surrounding urban context.
My Role: Responsibilities included urban context and site analysis, interpretation of planning controls, site planning, built-form strategies, spatial organisation, architectural design and 3D visualisation. Developed design solutions addressing site constraints, building height, solar access, privacy and neighbouring amenity.
