A seniors living development comprising 18 contemporary Class 2 townhouses within an established low-density residential setting. The proposal transforms a large residential estate into a higher-density development while retaining significant existing vegetation, including a prominent Eucalyptus tree that defines the site's character. A centralised basement accommodates parking, allowing the development to prioritise landscaped communal spaces, pedestrian connections and residential amenity. The project required a considered planning and design response within an R2 zoning context and ultimately achieved approval through the Land and Environment Court.
My Role: Contributed to concept design, design development and DA documentation, managing planning constraints and coordinating the multidisciplinary consultant team throughout the Development Application process. Also coordinated design amendments and supporting documentation throughout the Land and Environment Court proceedings, including the Section 34 conciliation conference, contributing to the project's approval.
